This isn't my usual style, but it's fun to do something a bit different from time to time. I've been working on this in my lunch hour for a week or so, for a 'friendly contest' on... ahem... another art forum. The topic was 'Rome 3000', 'Imagine if the Roman Empire had thrived and survived to the present day'.
I started a couple of images, and this was the second. The first was a few gladiators and an armoured 30's Bugatti waiting in a tunnel to go in the arena. But i went with this idea because it seemed more 'fun'. And i had a smile on my face putting in the detail. Not sure who he's phoning... maybe his mum?
